Vision Board 101
Vision Board Basics
A vision board is a powerful tool that can help you manifest your goals. It uses a visual collection of images words and reminders to invoke a feeling of positivity, gratitude and encouragement. Vision boards harness the law of attraction to create focus and get specific about what you want to bring into your life. It serves as a reminder of your dedication when you are feeling uninspired or stuck. Most importantly, a vision board should be a reflection of how you want to feel daily!
Simple Break Down Of The Law Of Attraction.
Remember that the Universe wants you to be abundant and believes you are already perfect. You have to be able to work with the universe for the universe to show up for you. This means like energy attracts like energy. What you give out, you receive back. Your thoughts, emotions, feelings, actions, and beliefs can influence an outcome. You create your life with your thoughts and your feelings. You are a magnet! What you focus on becomes your reality. As above so below.
The Possibilities Are Endless.
There is no right or wrong when it comes to a vision board. It's all about what inspires you to be your best self and reach your goals! It’s important to create a vision board that you connect with. Organize and arrange your items on the surface until you are happy with the general vibe. Take a step back. Observe your board in its entirety. Make any adjustments before permanently adhering them to your backdrop. Now that you’ve put your masterpiece together, hang your vision board in your home or work space. Make sure it's somewhere you will walk by and see daily. Now wait for the Universe to deliver!
Your Vision Board is not Set in Stone.
Remember you can make a new vision board as you accomplish, evolve, or change your goals. Life is ever changing and so are our goals. Don’t be afraid to rethink your vision as time goes on. A vision board should be seen as a positive contribution. When you no longer see it that way, it's time to change it.
Here is an example of my personal vision board made 3 years ago when I graduated Massage School. You can see some concepts and components discussed in this article. I included varying photos including my family, goals, and positive statements.
